When I was a child, many people like to hand-write the paper mails then put then into the put in the mail box. Post officer would help people to delivery their mails to the destination. In fact, most of people have their own smart phone or computers, and they usually have one or more emails. Sending Email has become a common form of communication in people's daily life. In my mind, there are three differences between Email and traditional mail. Firstly, speed is a big difference between email and traditional mail. Some people called the traditional mail as "snail mail" because it usually need to take couple days to delivered to the destination. The delivery speed of email usually depend on the speed of internet. People usually available to delivered their emails in few second if their electronic equipment can connect to the internet. In my mind, the delivery speed of email is much faster than transitional mail under a stable internet connection. The second difference between email and mail is the effects on the environment. For traditional mail, people often used the hand-write paper letter and paper envelope, these products all made from the raw material from wood pulp. However, we just need to use some electric power to send an email. I consider that sending an email is more environmentally friendly than sending a traditional mail. The third difference between email and traditional mail is the cost. Although you may need to pay for your internet bill monthly, you can send your email free when you under a public free WIFI connection. However, if you want to send a traditional mail, you have to pay the postage unless the recipient paid or would pay it. So, in some situation, sending an email is cheaper than sending a traditional mail. In conclusion, although email have a lot of advantage, traditional mail is one of the most important form of communication for people on past. In my mind, we need to respect both email and traditional mail.
