This documentary record how two young men (Kaleil Isaza Tuzman, Tom Herman) founded govWorks.Inc in 1998, how the company growth and went bankrupt when the dot-com bubble burst in 2000. The directors of this documentary are Chris Hegedus and Jehane Noujaim, Noujaim was Tuzman's classmate in Harvard University. Mr Tuzman was leaving Goldman Sach and started his Internet company govWorks.Inc. In my mind, Mr Tuzman is a very creative person, he got inspired after he found a ticket. Then, Mr Tuzman decided to started the govWorks.com. Mr Tuzman and Mr Herman want to use this website makes citizens in local communities could pay their fees, receive the information from communities, etc more convenience. They encountered many difficulties during the company's operation and they hardly have they even have little time to spend with their family. However, govWorks.Inc got lot of Investment and financing; it raised $60 million USD in funding. But, govWorks.Inc spent these capitals in a three years and went bankrupt. In 2000, Tom Herman leaves govWorks.InC and the dot-com bubble burst in 2000. Mr Tuzman and his investor decided to sell govWorks.Inc in 2001. All in all, this documentary explains that the successful and failure of govWorks.com. To be honest, I considered that govWorks.com would be a successful website, however, the dot-com bubble burst and the company failure.
